About the Yokogawa VP Van
The Yokogawa “VP Van” is a 54’ long tractor trailer housing Yokogawa’s latest process control solutions. Each tour event is held at a customer or local common site and is hosted by Yokogawa’s local technical sales personnel providing customers with in-depth product and application assistance over a four to eight hour period.
Overall Objective & Guidelines
The overall objective of the Yokogawa VigilantPlant Van is to bring the message to our existing and potential clients in North America of our commitment to the Industrial Automation market. “By bringing our mobile VigilantPlant to our customer’s plant site, we can demonstrate Yokogawa’s complete solution portfolio including leading-edge instrumentation and analytical products, as well as, our advanced control and monitoring systems for the process industries.” said Brad Byrum, Vice President of Product Solutions.
Our annual target is 120-150 customer sites in the process industries like refineries, petrochemical, power, chemical, and gas processing plants. This campaign will help increase overall visibility of the Yokogawa brand in the industrial automation segment. Our goal is to convey the message of Yokogawa as a dependable complete solution provider with advanced instrumentation, leading edge analytical products and advanced control and monitoring systems for the process industries.
At Yokogawa Corporation of America we aim to provide our customers with solutions to help them operate their plants safely, manage their assets effectively, maximize production and increase profitability. Currently all requests for customer site visits are coordinated through Regional Directors and Yokogawa's Corporate Marketing Department.
